We are looking for a skilled Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our talented and continuously improving Front-End Incident Resolution and Stability Team (FIRST) in Application Hosting Technology stream. What challenges do we offer you? The FIRST team is part of the Application Hosting Techstream in Group IT. We are delivering stability improving automations, platform tools and quality of life improvements for our fellow administrators. As an Infrastructure Engineer in FIRST your main challenge will be the analysis of RH Linux platform incidents and building proactive incident prevention solutions . Your daily tasks will include analysis of occurred incidents, design of prevention solutions and building automations to enable the proactive resolution of incidents. Our team also provides support for tooling platforms such as Puppet to our administrators. What would help you succeed in the role? As an Infrastructure Engineer in FIRST , we expect you to be able to have a proactive automation focused mindset and be able to work independently with the RH Linux platform and Puppet : Previous experience with Red Hat Linux, Puppet and Ansible ; Good analytical skills and orientation to automation of complex tasks; Successfully completed a degree in a relevant subject (or in acquisition) or equivalent in work experience Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies is a plus; True team-player, proactive and communicative (also fluent in English ). As a person you want to make an impact on the organization and your peers, you have good analytical and problem solving skills. You are able to view problems from multiple perspectives. You aim to do things purposefully and structurally. You are used to working proactively and you know how to suggest and implement improvements to drive platform stability. You are willing to work in an agile operations environment. You might have been working previously as an Infrastructure Engineer or System Administrator.
